About Scrum Studios
Scrum Ventures recently announced Scrum Studios, a platform that connects global corporations with startups. Leveraging our partnerships with global corporations from Japan,
we support and provide opportunities for startups to create successful new businesses. Scrum runs two studio programs currently, one with Panasonic and another with Nintendo. Read more about current Scrum Studio projects here:

  • Work with Managing Director to develop, execute, and own programming for Scrum Studio programs based on higher level strategic goals.
  • Lead the planning and marketing of Scrum Studio programs to attract quality startups through events and office hours.
  • Manage the process for screening and selecting the best startups.
  • Own overall logistics of program including scheduling of events, office hours, screening, and Scrum Studio program.
  • Recruit and build relationships with investors, startups, mentors, and the startup community.
  • Communicate progress of Studio projects internally and to corporate partners.
  • Represent Scrum Ventures and Scrum Studios in the startup community.
  • Active involvement in all Scrum Studio activities through strategic guidance, sales, and support of alumni companies.
  • Support investment activities of investment team through deal sourcing, evaluation, and support of portfolio companies.


  • Passion for and 3+ years experience around technology, startups, entrepreneurship, and venture capital.
  • 5+ years experience in a fast-paced environment with a focus on operations or program management.

  • Experience in event planning and event logistics.

  • Strong leadership and project management skills (goal-setting, organization, implementation, reporting).

  • Entrepreneurial drive (comfortable with minimal direction and high expectations)

  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate, build, and maintain strong working relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • “Founder-first” mentality.

  • Strong knowledge of and ability to learn use of a variety of online tools.

  • Experience managing events is desirable.

  • Operational experience as founder or early employee at high-growth startups is a plus.
